This month’s Photographer of the Month, Alycia Adams Neighbours continues on from the last 3 weeks. These are her words and her photographs.
‘Serenity can be found anywhere and everywhere: The graceful floating movement of a jellyfish.
The arch of a horse’s neck bending down to accept a treat. .
The lazy movements of a fish.
The thing with finding serenity in what you visually see to change what your heart can see. To be open and accepting of the peace around you. To shut out the inconveniences, frustrations, pains and difficulties that surround us all.’
Alycia has also written for us. Read ‘Thin Bands of Light’

Alycia is a mother, photographer and writer in the Middle Tennessee area. Although a successful portrait photographer, her real passion is capturing the small and often overlooked beauty that surrounds us daily.
